Live in Sonoma with John Cameron Mitchell
We’re hitting the road! The kind folks at Sonoma International Film Festival have invited us to present our first live show, featuring John Cameron Mitchell dishing on Robert Altman’s Nashville. Recorded before a live audience, the episode will hit the pod-waves in early April. If you’re near Sonoma on Friday, March 22, swing by and say hello! We’ll be at the Sonoma Valley Women’s Club at 11am. Brunch somewhere TBD after. Cooper’s treating (we hope)!
Coming Soon
In addition to John Cameron Mitchell on Nashville, we are excited to share our recent convo with Steve Buscemi diving deep into John Huston’s Fat City. Plus, Chaz Ebert gets personal as she shares her own take on Steve James’ 2014 doc Life Itself, the story of her late husband and one of the greatest film writers of all time, Roger Ebert. To round things out a bit this spring, we’ll also share “The Five Films Siskel and Ebert Got Wrong”, an epic episode from our friends at Filmspotting.
Episodes will drop on Mondays starting March 25, after which we will be on hiatus while we round up some more extraordinary guests and explore their mind-blowing movies.
We’ll return with more episodes in a few months time. In the meantime, email stories@thefilmthatblewmymind to let us know what you’re watching, and what’s blowing your mind.
